Markhard, CPCU Bill is a 1973 graduate of Lowell Tech, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Bill attained the CPCU designation in 1981 and became licensed as an Insurance Advisor in 1984. He has over thirty-three years experience in the insurance industry as an Independent Insurance Agent. As a student of insurance, Bill has a thorough grasp of every facet of the industry. For the past twenty-four years, Bill has been employed with the McLaughlin Agency, and in that capacity, has specialized in handling substantial Commercial Lines accounts. Upon graduation, John was enrolled in the unique Commercial Union Producer Training Program. This program accepts only 20% of its applicants. John spent seven weeks in the intensive Commercial Union classroom program and was then employed by the Commercial Union Insurance Company, Portland, ME branch for one year. During that year, John received training in every department in the company with a focus on coverage, rating and underwriting issues. Since joining the McLaughlin Agency in 1990, John has specialized in the handling of substantial Commercial Lines Accounts. John attained his CPCU designation in 1994. Personal Insurance Services: Constance McLaughlin Connie has twenty-eight years experience in the insurance business. Connie founded the McLaughlin Agency's Personal Services Division and has dedicated her career to providing unparallel service to her clientele. Connie completed the intensive Commercial Union classroom program.
