In September 1999, the McLaughlin Agency moved its entire staff to a temporary location so that we could tear down our 40-year-old, 2,200 sq.ft. building and replace it with a new 6,200 sq. ft. building. In order to maintain the integrity of the residential neighborhood, we constructed our new building to look like a home. We thought it would be a neat idea to carry that theme inside the building. Melrose is one of the oldest communities in the country and is enjoying a victorian home renovation renaissance. In this spirit we have decorated our office with turn-of-the-century furniture and furnishings and combined these with state-of-the-art business and technology systems.
